In order to improve the overall emergency response capability of employees for chemical leakage accidents, to ensure that in the event of an accident, quick and orderly emergency measures can be taken to effectively control the accident and protect the life of employees and the safety of company property. The Safety and Environmental Protection Department of Yichang Sanxia Proudin Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. organized a chemical leakage drill on June 11, 2021.

The drill takes the dissolving station as the simulation scene. It simulates that the pipeline falls off when the liquid ammonia tanker is unloaded, and part of the liquid ammonia leaks to the ground. The liquid ammonia volatilizes very quickly on site, and the ammonia smell is strong. The situation is urgent and emergency rescue is required. As the commander-in-chief announced the start of the drill, the operator at the accident site immediately reported the accident to the vice-president of safety and requested emergency rescue. According to the judgment of the accident situation, the vice president of safety immediately started the emergency rescue plan. As the leader of the on-site command team, the safety supervisor immediately convened various emergency teams to carry out rescue.

With the cleanup of ground contaminants completed, the drill ends. In this drill, the participating employees learned the basic knowledge of emergency response to the leakage and plugging of hazardous chemicals, and increased their self-protection and emergency evacuation capabilities. The drill basically achieved the expected goals. Through this drill, the emergency response capability of the safety and environmental protection department and the dissolving station to deal with sudden chemical leakage accidents was tested and improved, and the defects and deficiencies of emergency response work were discovered, which played a positive role in the company's production safety development.
